Search marketing is a digital marketing channel that is comprised of two parts—organic (without ad cost) and paid (sponsored ads). For our boutique agency, Search is a core service and, like our other offerings, is centered around user intent to create maximum effectiveness. We hone in on how people search and how to connect our clients’ services with ideal keyword phrases to create results.
Organic Search
Managing organic search marketing is called search engine optimization (SEO), and includes both on-page (internal website) and off-page (external placement) tactics. Our team utilizes written content, technical elements, Google Business Profiles, citations, and user experience (UX) primarily with our SEO service.
Paid Search
Paid search marketing is also known as PPC (pay-per-click) or Google Ads and Bing Ads management. This is the process of creating and optimizing paid campaigns within the Google and/or Bing Ads platforms by creating a campaign, ad group, and keyword structure that is laser-focused and strategic. We don’t throw broad phrases into ads to see what sticks—our PPC management will avoid wasted spend and ensure your budget is used most effectively.

ready to gain access to our PPC and SEO management?
frequently asked questions
How long will it take to see results?
This varies greatly by client industry, location, and the existing competitive landscape, so there isn’t a “one size fits all” answer. For PPC, website traffic can be generated quite quickly after launch, but we recommend waiting at least two weeks before making significant changes to campaigns or ad copy. SEO results can take months, as it is based on many more factors (Google’s ever-changing algorithm, frequency and quality of published content, website UX and technical health, and many more). We have seen organic rankings happen in as little as one month, and as long as five to six months.
How much access will I have to your team, as a client?
The level of access to our team will be entirely dependent on the retainer and scope of work we create together, however, we always go the extra mile for our clients and will be as responsive and agile as possible.
Do search marketing retainers have any minimums or requirements?
Yes, our SEO and PPC management starts at twenty hours per month, with a preferred twelve-month engagement.
Who is the ideal search marketing client for the agency?
We’re most excited to partner with growth-focused startups, lean SMB teams, and any other brand looking to make a memorable and effective impact on their business. All clients must have the bandwidth to collaborate with us and be able to review and provide feedback on recommendations in a timely manner. They will also need to be comfortable with providing access to necessary data, internal tools, and confidential information, based on the tasks we are scoped to assist with. Google Ads budgets must be at least $2,000 per month as well. Does that sounds like you?
What is the structure of a search marketing retainer, and who will we work with for PPC and SEO?
All client partnerships include email and/or Slack communications, as we want to ensure we’re accessible when you need us! Based on the breadth of our scope of work, you will be assigned an account team who will facilitate SEO and PPC management, as well as monthly calls, project management, and reporting.
